The Fillmore Unified School District will be holding a class to teach all you need to know to drive a school bus and secure a job transporting the most important people in the world, our children. To qualify, you must be 18 years of age, have not been convicted of a felony, and have a good driving record.
Applicants will begin a one-week classroom-training course. The DMV Commercial Driver Handbook will be used in this class, and this handbook can be obtained from the Department of Motor Vehicles at no cost to you. Behind the wheel training (BTW) will be scheduled on an individual basis upon successful completion of classroom portion and passing of DMV Permit test.

(*Please note: a Saturday may be required if make-ups are needed)
Applicants are required to attend all sessions and days of class and pass a written exam to be considered for behind the wheel training.
